👋 Welcome to Module 9: Resilience & Flexibility
Life is full of surprises, exciting or challenging! The question is: how do we keep moving forward when things don’t go as planned? How do we stay strong, yet flexible enough to adapt? That’s where resilience and flexibility come in.
This module is your personal toolkit for stepping back from difficulties, adapting to change, and growing stronger each time. Whether it’s in your studies, your career, or your personal life, learning these skills will help you stay balanced and ready for the unexpected.
PART 1 – BOUNCE BACK STRONGER
Challenges, setbacks, and stress are part of life. But resilience is what allows us to cope with them! In this part, you’ll explore the 7 Cs of Resilience (Competence, Confidence, Connection, Character, Contribution, Coping, and Control) and learn how each one acts as a building block for mental strength.
By the end, you’ll notice that resilience is not something you’re “born with,” but as a skill you can grow every day.
PART 2 – FLEX YOUR MINDSET
When things don’t go as expected, flexibility is key. Through Carol Dweck’s Growth vs. Fixed Mindset and Cognitive Flexibility theory, you’ll learn how to stay open to new possibilities, and handle change with creativity instead of fear!
PART 3 – RESILIENT & FLEXIBLE IN ACTION
It’s time to bring it all together! In this final part, you’ll apply resilience and flexibility to real-life challenges. You’ll practice strategies so that when stress or sudden change hits, you’ll know exactly what tools to use.
